Isn't she cute? :)
If you'd like to learn more about what Jessi and Jake are doing in Africa (they'll only be home for a short time), click the link above to read their blog, or go here for more info on their missions agency. I praise God for what the *three* of them are doing in Africa. They are a great encouragement to me.
God is faithful - a good reminder for me today. Hopefully for you, too!

Congratulations to them!!!! That is so exciting!
And in response to your comment.. "BUT I will say that if I'm in a room with someone and they ask a question like that "How are you?" or "How was your weekend?" and we're both relatively stationary for a few minutes, I will definitely return the favor, so to speak. Even if I know they don't care how my weekend was.... ;)"
This is the scenario I was talking about, really. I, too, find the "How are you" as greeting rather awkward, especially when in motion. I am, however, getting quite used to it, because it's the typical Boston greeting "How ahh yah?" Instead of answering, it's typical to respond "How ahh YAH?" and then move on. Boston is funny.
Say something...
