But anyway--back to my point. I've decided that it's time to post some pictures on my blog of our apartment--isn't it about time? (Again, I'm slow.) But first, I thought it would be appropriate to show you what it's like to try to cook dinner for your new/old friends in a *tiny* kitchen. I hope you enjoy the before and after photos!
BEFORE: A place for everything, and everything in its place.
BEFORE: A sparkling clean stove.
BEFORE: Have you ever seen a combination microwave/toaster?
Anyway... enough of that scary mess. Let's check out the rest of the apartment:
This (wedding!) photo display (sorry it's blurry) is above our couch. Note that I didn't include the couch in the picture... it's hideous.
This is a not-so-great picture of our large living room window. But at least you can see the cute curtains! (Bed, Bath and Beyond.)
Our main bookshelf (of course we have more than one!).
This is the spare bedroom, also known as the office. When you come to visit, you can sleep on the futon (also known as the "cruton"). It may be uncomfortable, but at least it goes with the decor of the room! Note the giraffes by the small white shelf. The tall one is Henry; the smaller one (hard to see) is Marley (also known as Mar-mar). They came back from Jamaica with us!

Also in the office, this is our "wall of fame." Yes, we are college graduates and previous Outstanding Seniors! And one of us is a proud member of Phi Beta Kappa. (Dorks... we know.)
This is a great picture of our table from when Jenn and Jessi came to visit. (Thanks for cooking, girls!)

Instead of a full picture of the bathroom, I'll just show you this. This is what happens when you let your husband have the registry gun at Target. :) Just kidding... I actually bought this myself (Wes loves elephants, and I think it's cute!)
This is our little laundry area. My wonderful husband installed the shelf above the washer/dryer. And what you can't see is that my wonderful parents-in-law ;) installed a light so we can actually see to do our laundry! Sweet! But the best part is that it's enclosed by double doors. Love it!
For our final picture in our apartment tour, this is a shot that doesn't do justice in terms of just how large this closet is! It's been a lifesaver. So much storage! Can you see that Wes actually parks his bike in here? --Well, that's a domestic dispute for another time. ;)
...
I hope you've enjoyed a small tour through our small apartment. It would more fun to take you on a REAL tour, though, so please come visit!!! :)
