Pinterest Success!

I've had a couple of pinterest successes lately, and I keep meaning to share them!

I don't spend a lot of time on pinterest, but I feel like I've talked about it a lot lately for some reason. I mostly use it to keep track of cute outfits/good recipes/ideas to save for later. But sometimes it's fun to scroll through for inspiration, and sometimes things jump out at me that I know I have to try. Like this, for instance.

My MIL gave me an appetizer plate a while back that had seen better days. And check out its super-easy transformation! All in just a few minutes with barkeeper's friend -- who knew?

{I really need to stop using my iPhone for pictures when I actually have a nice camera!}

I also tried this a while back {getting armpit stains out of white tshirts} and while it requires substantially more effort, it really does work wonders. Of course I forgot to take before/after pictures, but she has some great pictures on her page, so click through! I have been looking for a solution to that problem for a while, since hubs wears a white tshirt every day as an undershirt, and I hate buying new ones all the time -- it's wasteful & expensive. The shirts look like new when you're done & don't smell bad coming out of the dryer {that's the worst part of the whole problem to me -- they're not just stained yellow, but they smell bad even when they're clean!}.

So hooray for pinterest. {And hooray for Jillee -- did you notice that both pins were from her site? She has some really good stuff on her blog!}

Oh -- one last thing that I hope will be another pinterest success story. I really want to make these this weekend.

{Click through for recipe & photo source.}

I've had the ingredients out for two weeks now but just haven't made them... I'm ridiculous. Please tell me I'm not the only one who procrastinates even on things they want to do?!

Happy Friday, friends. If you have a particularly fun pinterest success story, I want to hear about it! :)

I love Pinterest success stories. Make the energy bites! :)

The energy bites are REALLY good. So good, in fact, that Joe doesn't like me to make them because we end up eating too many of them, which pretty much cancels out any health benefit I would get from subbing them for a no-bake cookie. Oh well.

You should link this to my friend's pinterTest kitchen! The link is actually on my blog today.
