We Wish You a Glowy Christmas

I confess that I haven't been very diligent about learning how to use my {not that}new{anymore}camera. But when I saw this tutorial on how to take a glowing picture of a Christmas tree, I knew I wanted to try it.

I tweaked it just a bit on Picnik, like adding the border, for instance, but this picture is mostly SOOC. Not bad, right? If you click on the tutorial link above, you'll see that my picture isn't as glowy as Beth's -- maybe because my ISO only goes up to 1200? Not sure. Also, I don't think the light in the window helped my cause {my MIL has those Christmasy electric candles in all of her windows}.

Anyway. Just a little Christmas happy for you since my last two posts have been somewhat sad. We've had a wonderful holiday with family & friends, and I hope you have, too! Merry Christmas!
