It holds something near & dear to me. Several somethings, actually.

Remember this post? The one in which you realized how crazy I really am? Well, I thought you might like an update. So here it is: I really love using cloth wipes. I mean, I really, really love it.
When I said above that I'm crazy, I didn't actually mean it. To be honest, if I think anyone's crazy, I think it's you -- for knocking it before you try it!
I keep both clean & used cloths in a closet right next to my bathroom.

And I keep a short stack of clean cloths on top of my toilet for easy access.

It's just so simple.
I feel cleaner, they're a breeze to wash (I have 100 cloths, and I typically wash them once a week), and omg, the money I save on toilet paper! That stuff is seriously expensive.
Lots of people I know say, "That's great! I just... I don't think I could do it."
I mean, okay. But... why? Let's review:
1. Easy.
2. More comfortable.
3. Saves money.
4. Environmentally responsible.
5. Easy!!!
I just don't get it.
If you have questions, I'd love to answer them! I got mine here, but if you search "family cloth" on etsy, you'll find a variety of different types, sizes, colors, etc. Truly, my only regret is that I didn't purchase them sooner!

Hmm...I think the main reason for me is, I know what my three year old would do with them while no one is looking. :)
We cloth diaper one of our kids. Is that good enough? =) I rarely buy toilet paper. We get it at Costco and it lasts forever. I'm' not sure if I would save much money considering all hte laundry I would be doing (since I am already cloth diapering a baby). I'm Laura D's friend by the way. Popping in on your blog.
Have you considering using a wet back for the used ones rather than leaving them exposed? This is what we do with our used diapers. Controls odor.
considered rather. sorry wrestling a baby while I type
wet bag! ugh too many typos
Hey Lee! I read your blog sometimes, too. :) If you're already washing cloth diapers, you could just wash them with those.... ;) But I do think it's awesome that you're cloth diapering!
Anyway, there is no odor involved, or I would definitely use a wet bag. They make some really cute ones! Great suggestion.
Say something...
