Puerto Rico: Day Three

Yesterday Stephanie and I rented a car and drove to Old San Juan. Neither of us had ever rented a car before, and we were so proud of ourselves for being such adults. :) It was a fun day. Two women (also here with Lia Sophia) had agreed to go with us & split the cost of the rental car, but they backed out at the last minute because it was raining. But 10 minutes into our drive the rain stopped, as rain tends to do here. We were thankful we had continued on!

We had a good time walking around OSJ and taking in the scenery. We stopped at a good old fashioned Wendy's on the way home, where I learned that free refills are not something Puerto Rico has to offer. Interesting. We then went to Walgreen's, where I happily bought some diet pepsi on the cheap, and Stephanie found some cute shoes at an outlet mall. This morning we're up early & preparing to go to the rainforest. We have until 2 p.m. to return the rental car, so I guess I should shut up and get moving. :)

Here are a few pictures of the trip so far. The first two are at the resort, and the last three are at OSJ. I think for my birthday I'd like to take a class on Photoshop. I don't have the program now, but even if I did, I wouldn't know how to use it. {Girl Casey, if you're reading, I think we should do this together!}
