Random Thoughts

I have had a cold/allergies/something-really-annoying for several weeks now. I think I need to break down and pay $5 to go to the Seminary clinic. {As a side note, I'm so glad my poor hubs has tons of money taken out of his paychecks so I can go to the Seminary clinic. Insurance is a terrible thing. You pay tons of money for it, and then you avoid using it! But all the same, I'm grateful we have it.}

Speaking of insurance, I'm thinking of signing up for an Aflac policy or two. I used to work for Aflac {best job ever, seriously} and I saw the amazing benefits of their policies. You should check them out!

My coupons were stressing me out... so I recycled most of them. That made me feel better. (I really do need to figure out a way to organize them!)

I have a George Foreman grill for sale if you're interested.

I don't think I've ever mentioned it, but I have a box fetish:

This picture was taken right after I actually tackled the closet behind the couch. Those are all... you guessed it... empty boxes. Sometimes -- or all the time, it seems -- when I have an empty box, I stash it away... you know, just in case I need it later (like to mail a package, etc.). Those boxes were all found in the closet behind the couch, and my helpful, sane cruel neighbors made me recycle ALL of them. Now what am I going to do if I have to mail a package?!

Speaking of The Year of the Makeunder, it's going well. I've kind of hit a plateau, so I think I'm going to try this next month when life slows down a bit. I know I have 50 things! Want to join me?

This is a serious one. A dear friend of mine is getting married this summer... but I am not invited. I responded sinfully to her kindness two years ago; I am not forgiven, despite my sincere repentance and frequent apologies. Maybe I shouldn't blog about this... but I don't know how to move on. Pray for me?

I have always loved this picture of Faith Hill. I have no idea what her perfume smells like, but I think she looks stunning:

{Speaking of "stunning," that's quite an adjective, don't you think? I have been called that once, and I will not forget it.}

Hubs says we might go on a surprise trip this summer. YAY! This sounds so fun to me.

I really like mix CDs. If you'd like to make me a CD of some of your favorite songs, I think that would be so fun! It tells me something about you {and introduces me to new music/reminds me of great songs that I already know}.

Lately, I've really enjoyed using {braces} instead of parentheses (even though I try to throw those in every once in a while for good measure). Have you noticed?

Okay, that's all for now. Two things left on my agenda for today:

1. Watch Bones
2. Brush teeth
{3. Bed!}

I'm with you, coupons are no fun to organize. I just use a little, plastic coupon organizer and sort them by food category; but, it's not always very neat. As for recycling, where do you take your stuff? I've been wanting to recycle but don't have time to drive across town to drop off things.

I use a recipe box for my coupons. I think I told you that before. But before I sort them into it, I sort them into plastic cups labeled by category. This is SO much easier because they just fall into place perfectly and then I take them all out category by category and put them into my box.

Say something...
