Julie and Julia. Watched it last night; raced back to Redbox as soon as it was over to avoid being charged an extra dollar. Made it with 49 seconds to spare! But it definitely would've been worth the extra dollar. :) The book is probably good, too!
Sojourn's advent CD. You can even buy it on iTunes. So good!
Coming home from work and doing your least favorite chore before you sit down. Last night I walked in, stepped out of my heels, and went straight for the bathroom. 45 minutes later, the shower was sparkling and the toilet was clean. And as soon as I sat down, I thought, "Oh my gosh, I'm so tired. I can't possibly do another thing." Isn't it a good thing I didn't sit down before trying to clean the shower??
This robe. Oh, have I mentioned that before? Whoopsies. I just love it!
Being prepared. We have community group tonight. Christmas goodie bags are all lined up waiting to go. Glad I'm not rushing to finish them after work!
(Note: I was not prepared enough to actually put up a Christmas tree or decorate my apartment for Christmas this year. I also recommend that you listen to your own advice.)
This wreath tutorial. Looks easy, and it's so pretty!
Oh, and this advent calendar! I am seriously amazed and I want one.
Taking Paul's advice.
Getting up early so you can waste time on the internet/put on your makeup/eat breakfast/exercise/do random household chores without being late for work. Whatever it is that makes you late for work... getting up a half an hour earlier helps. You guys know how I'm late to work every day because I just can't stop exercising in the mornings!
Living next door to a toddler. It's so much fun. :)
Taking Bryn's advice. Would I be so bold? I don't know, but those pictures are awesome!
Taking note of your own sinfulness before you're quick to point out the flaws in others. This is especially important in your relationship with your spouse. I have been struck lately at how often I think Wes is selfish... because he's not serving me. What does that make me? Selfish! I have much to learn.
Making mini envelopes. Everything is cute when it's small! (Especially clothes. Why is it that clothes look adorable on the mannequin but hideous on me? Because they're a size 2 on the mannequin and a size 10 on me. Right.)
Using the word snarky more often. It's such a great word. Just don't use when talking about me. Ok?
Making your own list of recommendations. This was fun. :)
