It's definitely more brown than it appears... and it has a gentle stitching pattern to it that I didn't expect (I thought it would be very gray and very solid), but that you can kind of see if you zoom in on the picture.
But I am thrilled!
(To be honest, I was kind of hoping I wouldn't like it... because then I wouldn't have purchased a $168 duvet. Do you ever think that way?)
Anyway. The Great Bedroom Renovation is almost complete. I'm waiting for the perfect
nightstand and perhaps another headboard. I painted my original one gray, but it just doesn't match it. And I love it more than the headboard!

But now I'm kind of thinking no headboard -- just lots of pillows. I think the stripes can stand on their own (well, with more pillows). Thoughts?
Also, I'm realizing just how long it takes me to complete a project. (Maybe because I undertake so many at one time!) I first mentioned painting my furniture on 8/31/09. It's now almost 10/31/09. It's a good thing I'm not depending on this blog for income... I'd never be able to hold an audience at this rate! (Thanks to the 5 of you who read anyway.) But in my defense, I've also been re-doing things in other rooms, and I've done more than just paint my furniture....
I am trying to make myself feel better... can you tell?
GBR pictures coming sometime in the somewhat-near, not-too-distant, it-won't-be-THAT-long future. Like... before 2010. Deal?
