I was filling out the Account Information page tonight as I was creating an AE.com account and I noticed that "New Arrivals" had an apostrophe in it like this: New Arrival's (under "Clothes You Like").
This is an error, and I just thought someone would want to know.
Thanks!

lol. you're that person... but hey, you got a job out of it, right? :o)
sooner or later you're going to get hate mail from this habit beth. though - knowing you - you would just send it back with red corrections on it. you're hilarious. way to change the world - one apostrophe at a time.
Nicely done. My theory is, if it's an individual person, no grammar check necessary. But a company selling merchandise? They need to get it right.
I'm gonna call you the Apostrophe Police.
I think Kate Turabian would have you put your parentheses before the period like this: "Oh Yes I Did (Part Two)." Or else you could use a colon: "Oh Yes I Did: Part Two." OR, since it is a title, you could drop the period all together.

PS - I just made that up and didn't check my Turabian manual... though I'm tempted to now. :)
PPS - I'm SURE you are familiar with The Word Detective. I'm a huge fan and could easily waste hours on his website. Anyway, here is a link where he answers an email regarding "its" and "it's." Apparently, the rule used to be the exact opposite of what it is now until the word "tis" became obsolete.
Go figure.
