Sad.

I came across this blog today by the way of Wanderluster. It's really, really sad. Sorry; I don't mean to be a downer today. But when was the last time that you were thankful -- really thankful -- to be alive? Matt and Madeline, my heart goes out to you.

But beyond my grief for them, and humanity's shared sadness in the face of death, I want them to know the gospel. I want you to know the gospel. God is bigger than death!

Will your spirit be accepted by Him when you die?
Are you sure?
...and isn't it worth thinking about?

As you do not know the way the spirit comes to the bones in the womb of a woman with child, so you do not know the work of God who makes everything.

Remember also your Creator in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near of which you will say, "I have no pleasure in them"... [before] the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it. [Ecclesiastes 11:5, 12:1,7]
