You've never been more interested in one of my blog titles, right? I thought I'd put in a quick plug for some free software from xxxchurch, a ministry that is dedicated to reaching out to those who struggle with porn. Obviously, the ministry itself is quite controversial, but the software is great. It's called "X3watch," and you can get it here for free. (You can also pay for a version called "X3watch Pro," which has way more features.)
Hear about the software in the company's own words:
X3watch is accountability software designed to help with online integrity. When you browse the internet and access a site which may contain questionable material, the program will record the site name. A person of your choice (an accountability partner) will receive an email containing all questionable sites you may have visited. This information is meant to encourage open and honest conversation between friends and help you be more accountable to your online adventures.
Wes and I are particularly fond of this particular software because it doesn't filter. Not that filtering is bad, obviously, but it can be annoying when sites that aren't questionable get filtered. This way, you're still being held accountable, and your internet searches aren't limited. We have downloaded it on our main desktop and both of our laptops.
You may not think this is necessary because you don't struggle with porn -- but I urge you to think again. Neither of us have that struggle, either, but we don't ever want to think that we're "above" something. We all have the same sin nature, and it can take us down paths we never thought we'd go. Something to think about!

There are a few things I don't understand. Maybe we could talk about it?
BUT ... we'll have to talk about it next week. I'm leaving for the beach this morning!
(sorry ... had to rub it in.)
Say something...
