Thank you, Jesus, for My Husband

Thanksgiving is upon us, and once again I'm reminded to live a life of thankfuless--thanksliving, continual thanksgiving! Tonight I thought I'd post quickly to say how very thankful I am to be the wife of Wesley Alan Crouser. Before the foundation of the earth was formed, God delighted to fashion our marriage and has now, in perfect timing, has brought it to pass. I could not be any more fortunate! I am married to a man who is exceptionally:

*kind
*compassionate
*intelligent
*handsome
*merciful
*loving
*patient (is he ever...)
*diligent
*hard-working
*handsome
*faithful
*fun to be around
*handsome!!

--and etc. (Did I mention he was handsome?)

In all seriousness, I am so grateful. Wesley definitely deserves someone with the above qualities, and I regret to say I can't add many, if any, of them to my list of better traits. I only pray that as time goes on, and God's kindness molds me more and more into the image of Christ, I will become the wife he deserves.

I am thankful for so many things--my family, my friends, my job, food in my stomach and the roof over my head... truly, I am blessed beyond measure. For what are you thankful this thanksgiving? Take time between turkey and pumpkin pie to think about it. May the realization of the blessings in your life always lead you back to the Giver of every good gift.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

*Every good and perfect gift comes from above, coming down from the Father of Lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. -James 1.17

*No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. -Psalm 84.11b
